Farm adventures and Amelia's soul mate

Today Amelia was riding a horse for the first time in her life, Ollie and mommy too. What an excitement! This experience is one of a kind, unforgettable. I am sure Amelia and Ollie will remember that. It was our second time at the Locket's Meadow Farm - a magical place, a garden of Eden for animals and people alike. Kids are so happy there just being with the animals, adults like us can forget about the crazy outside world and just sink into what's happening at the farm, what animals have to say. It's like returning to the source, to Mother Nature. Life is simple, beautiful, and pure. That's why kids feel so good there. 
Amelia actually met a very special animal, out of over hundred living there! Rosie actually picked Amelia to be her very dear friend. Rosie is a small goat with dwarfism and the connection between her and Amelia happen in an instant. Rosie acted as if she knew Amelia very well, like she knew her soul and heart. She was by her side, following her,  wanted to be pet by Amelia and watched over her:

I did not know Rosie so I did not even think this behavior was out of ordinary but Kathleen, the farm owner called me the same day to share her observations and amazement over Rosie's fascination with Amelia. Amelia was also very fond of Rosie:

It seemed like they both knew that they have a lot in common. They are both very special, unique, and little. So they became friends. We wanted to thank Kathleen for that amazing experience, for the little miracles, animal adventures. We have never seen another place like that. Filled with love, animal appreciation, and fun too. Over hundred different animals live on Kathleen's farm, all of them are rescued. They found not only safe refuge there, but also loving environment where they all can thrive and be happy. We feel that coming to the farm. It's in the air, all around. Ollie and his friends will actually celebrate his 3 rd birthday there in a few weeks and I am sure it will be a blast!

Dzis Amelka po raz pierwszy jezdzila konno! Oli tez i mama! Niesamowite emocje przezycie jedyne w swoim rodzaju, niezapomniane. Jestem pewna ze Amelka i Oli tez tego nie zapomna. To byla juz nasza druga wizyta na farmie Locket's Meadow w pobliskiej miejscowosci Bethany. To miejsce magiczne, raj i spokojna przystan dla zwierzat na nieje mieszkajacych i ludzi. Dzieci ciesza sie z kontaktu ze zwierzetami a dorosli moga zapmniec o problemach otaczajacego swiata i zatopic sie tylko w tym co dzieje sie na farmie, co maja do powiedzenia zwierzaki. To jak powrot do zrodla, do Matki Natury... Zycie tu jest piekne i nieskomplikowane dlatego dzieci tak dobrze sie tu czuja. Amelia poznala tu bardzo szczegolne zwierze (posrod ponad setki zwierzat), jedyne w swoim rodzaju. Prawde mowiac koza Rosie sama wybrala Amelke na swoja bardzo szczegolna przyjacolke. Rosi to malutka koza wiec od razu zlapala fale z Amelka, obie maja podobna medyczna kondycje. Rosie zachowywala sie jakby juz od dawna znala Amelke, jej dusze i serce, nie odstepowala Amelki na krok, pilnowala, dawala sie glaskac, pilnowala Ami (zdjecia powyzej). Nie znalam Rosi wiec nie wydalo mi sie to zachowanie niczym szczegolnym ale tego samego dnia zadzwonila do mnie Kathleen, wlascicielka farmy zeby podzielic sie ze mna swoimi spostrzezeniami, byla zaskoczona ta fascynacja Rosi Amelka. Obie zachowywaly sie jakby wiedzialy ze maja tak wiele wspolnego, obie sa wyjatkowe, unikalne, malutkie. Tak wiec zostaly przyjaciolkami na dobre. Dziekujemy Kathleen za to niesamowite doswiadczenie, przygode ze zwierzetami na farmie, na ktorej codziennie zdarzaja sie male cuda. Nie widzielismy jeszcze takiego miejsca pelnego milosci do zwierzat, szacunku do nich, zabawy. Na farmie Kathleen mieszka ponad sto roznych zwierzat i wszystkie sa uratowane z jarozniejszych opresji, czesto rzezni... Na farmie znalazly nie tylko schronienie ale takze miejsce gdzie sa szczesliwe  i kochane. To sie czuje w gestym powietrzu. Oli i jego przyjaciele beda celebrowac na tej farmie jego trzecie urodzinki juz wkrotce. Zabawa bedzie na pewno przednia, no i oczywiscie jazda konna!
