Last weekend we went to Coco Key Water Resort in Fitchburg, MA for our first regional LPA meeting. It was loaded with fun, kids really enjoyed the water fun, and playing with other kids. The meeting was an organizational masterpiece, there was even a storyteller performing in the kids room. We had a brief consult with Dr. Bober who told us to slow down on PT and especially on equipment. We met wonderful people, had great talks and laughs. We talked a lot with other LP parents and got inspired by those who have a lot more to deal with than us and keep happy. It was grand time, our mini vacation. We will most certainly come to next regional gathering in November. Big thanks to Barbara and Rick who made it all possible!! You rock!!

ReplyDeleteThat place looks like soooo much fun and both Ollie and Amelia are just too cute!!! I'm glad you had a chance to see Dr. Bober. We loved him during our time at DuPont hospital and even when we had to change hospitals for Jaxson he is still available to talk with us any time. Looks like a fabulous weekend and good times!!!

ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a wonderful time! That water park looks very cool! The kids must have had a blast! We love Dr. Bober! We see him at least every 10 weeks for Sonya's treatments and then every time we have a visit for ortho which is well, pretty frequent! Dr. Bober is just awesome and we really respect him in caring for Sonya! :)
